These Terms apply to the Swide iPhone app and swide.app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Swide mobile application, the website at https://swide.app, and related services. By using Swide, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the service
Swide helps you review and manage photos stored in your photo library on a supported iPhone. You choose which photos to queue for deletion and must confirm batch actions inside the app; Swide does not remove photos without your confirmation through that flow. You may use Swide only in compliance with applicable laws and Apple’s platform rules.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to enter into a binding agreement to use Swide. If you use Swide on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Some features may require a paid subscription. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple under your Apple account and applicable App Store policies. We may use RevenueCat or similar services to manage subscription status.
- Free use may be subject to limits (for example, a cap on deletions). Current limits are shown in the app.
- Pro or paid tiers may unlock additional features for as long as your subscription is active.
- Prices and plans may change where permitted by law and platform rules.
4. User responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing any photos you choose to delete through Swide. Deleted content may be subject to Apple’s “Recently Deleted” and recovery behavior. We are not responsible for accidental deletions resulting from your choices or device settings. Swide does not sell your photos or use them for advertising; processing for core review and queue features happens on your device unless we clearly disclose otherwise for a specific feature.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Swide in a way that violates any law or regulation.
- Interfere with or disrupt the app, website, servers, or related systems.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the service except as permitted by law.
- Use Swide to infringe the rights of others.
6. Intellectual property
Swide, including branding, design, software, website content, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of any intellectual property in Swide.
7. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Swide at any time, with or without notice. Features, pricing, and availability may change over time.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Swide is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, revenue, or profits arising from your use of Swide.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the service, users, or legal rights.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction to be specified], without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Swide after an updated version is effective means you accept the revised Terms.
